NOTICE OF VACANCY The Union Beach School System invites Applications from qualified candidates For the following: TITLE: SUPERVISOR OF BUILDING & GROUNDS (ANTICIPATED) LOCATION: UNION BEACH SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS: A high sc hool diploma or its equivalent Valid NJ Drivers' License Ability to effec tively speak and write English Minimum 3 -5 years of experience with school facilities maintenance or the equivalent in other institutions Minimum 3 -5 years of experience demonstrated knowledge, expertis e and proficiency in the basic techniques of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC and grounds maintenance Experience with supervision of school custodian services or the equivalent in other in institutions Strong organization, communication and time management skills Experience with all mand ated building operations plans Black seal license required; CEFM preferred Ability to work flexible hours including responding to sporadic emergency calls Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervises, directs and participates in the performance of all custodial and maintenance activities wit h the personnel in the district Performs other jobs and work as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools SALARY: Twelve -month position; Benefits package includes health/dental insurance and pension.
