Regents Point, a premier 5-star HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in Irvine, CA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a full-time Nutrition Services Supervisor. Under general supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor promotes health and wellness in an effort to prevent disease. 

FLSA Classification – Non-exempt. Full-time. 

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (typical start time between 8:30–9:00 AM; flexibility required based on operational needs, including occasional weekends).

Pay range $32 to $39 an hour, depending on experience.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

Education

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred, Dietetic Technician Credential or Certification as a Dietary Manager preferred, or experience with nutrition related practice or schooling.

Experience/Training

  • Minimum of one-year experience, preferably in a hospital or nursing home or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Credentialed through Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Dietetic Technician or Association of Nutrition & Food Service Professionals as a Certified Dietary Manager preferred.

Knowledge

  • Practical application of problem solving as related to the medical problems experienced by residents for whom medications are being managed;
  • Policies and procedures concerning resident care and of administering the procedures correctly;
  • Recordkeeping duties regarding residents that must be performed.
  • State and Federal regulations

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a computer for input of resident information, record keeping, communications as directed by management and any additional computer generated departmental needs.

Abilities

  • Oversee tasks of the team and daily duties that they supervise.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Residents, family members, guests, vendors, other department heads, team members and regulatory agencies.
