What Registered Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health

Nursing is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care. Examines patients and administers prescribed medications to facilitate healing and increase comfort. Nursing requires training and or licensed to care for patients.

The Nurse Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing allactivities ofPearl Road Ambulatory Surgery Center according toits policies, procedures,philosophy,andobjectives. They will ensurethatthefacility meetsallrelatedlocal, state,federal, andaccrediting-bodyrulesand regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Managementofallaspectsofthe environmentofcare,personnel,materials/equipment,educationofpersonnel,andadministrative duties.
  • Coordinates anddirectspatientcareinthefacilityaccordingto adoptedpoliciesand procedures,stateandfederalregulations,andacceptedaccreditationstandards.
  • Promotesafavorable image of the facility tophysicians, patients, insurance companies, andthe generalpublic
  • Ensures operational efficiency
  • Evaluate theneedfornew and/or differentitemsrelativetocompetitivetrendsandneeds ofthe community and facility
  • Promotes cost containment and efficient use of facility resources
  • Analyzesworkareaandmakesrecommendations forpotentialcost-effectiveimprovements
  • Overseesbusinessofficefunctionstomaintainefficiency
  • Monitors payroll andbenefits programs for accuracy, timeliness, cost-effectiveness,and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Coordinates purchasing ofequipment/supplies to provide optimum patient care within budget allowance
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers
  • Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner
  • Promotes effective communication among the facility's clinical areas, business office, and physician practices

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • At least 1 year of supervisor experience, preferred
  • Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgery center, preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Active OH RN license in good standing

Anticipated hourly range: $38.90 per hour - $55.50 per hour
