Job Summary:

The Supervisor for Radiation Oncology will be responsible for identifying problems, clarifying situations and referring issues to the Director of Radiation Oncology as needed. They will assist the Director of Radiation Oncology with communications to the lead Radiation Therapists at other sites, and oversee the daily operation of radiation therapies at Memorial Hospital and ensure compliance with all protocols, standards, and practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy
  • Skills: Proficient in Radiation Therapist core job duties. The candidate must demonstrate problem-solving and organizations skill. Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must function independently and also as an integral member of various teams. Must display a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years as a working Radiation Therapist, simulation experience
  • License: Ohio RT
  • Certification: ARRT, CPR

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree of Radiation Therapy
  • Skills: Knowledge of Varian Equipment and EPIC software
  • Years of Experience: One to 5 years year in a leadership position
