Summary:
Provides day to day supervision to professional and support staff for assigned areas. Provides clinical and leadership support to the team.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
1. Delivers patient care at established career level.
2. Assumes responsibility for overall performance of staff, including quality improvement, financial performance, productivity and competency.
3. Ensures effective customer relations between patient and staff.
4. Assists with goal setting and ensures that staff goals are in line with department & hospital goals.
5. Acts as a resource to staff.
6. Recruits and maintains adequate staffing levels.
7. Implements and reviews policies & procedures. Ensures staff competency.
8. Participates in developing the budget under the direction of the manager.
9. Under direction of manager, participates in disciplinary action.
10. Assists manager with development and implementation of PI plan.
11. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
12. Maintains and Models the Organization's values.
13. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
14. Performs other duties as required.

*Licensed OT, or SLP
Required: Working knowledge of PT, OT, SP, PTA, COTA, SLP Objective studies including MBS and FEES, rehabilitation techs
Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant clinical experience
Working Conditions:
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
