SUMMARY: To ensure departmental efficiencies in a safe working environment and that orders to the customers are filled & delivered as accurately and efficiently as possible.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare work schedules for production employees in assigned department \u2022 Provide daily work assignments \u2022 Monitor and insure productivity records are posted. Counsel/coach/corrective action for employees as necessary. \u2022 Monitor and report/record daily fill rates \u2022 Position requires not only supervisory responsibilities but production work as well. \u2022 Inform manager of any problematic situations related to laundry operations. Communicate with customer both verbally and in written form.QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to successfully lead a team \u2022 Must have a good command of the English language \u2022The ability to identify a problem, propose solution(s) and have the ability to execute possible solutions to problem-solve.\u2022 The ability to make decisions regarding production, distribution and scheduling. \u2022 Exhibit initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility and leadership. COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
