Summary

The Supervisor - Equipment Logistics leads an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for the processing of inbound and outbound equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be the driving force for operational excellence and adjudicating sound fiscal decisions to maximize profits and provide technical excellence of rental equipment. This position requires strong people leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a small team of full-time, part-time, and contingent staff to include management of:

  • Scheduling

  • Payroll

  • Performance Appraisals

  • Safety Policies

  • Expense Reports

  • Customer Service

  • Operational Polices

  • Ensure timely equipment pulls and returns through the constant focus on these key areas:

  • Scheduling of required staff

  • Managing staging areas

  • Coordination with Quality Control and Inventory Control on equipment needs and changes

  • Managing the intake and output of equipment transfers

  • Ensuring accurate date management across all systems in use

  • Accurate scanning and equipment processing practices

  • Identification and prioritization of required quick-turn equipment

  • Identification, vetting and communication of missing and lost equipment

  • Direct oversight of on-site additions in accordance to established policies and procedures

  • Assist in facility maintenance responsibilities as assigned

  • Manage the intake of equipment and prioritize the staging of outbound equipment

  • Support recruiting, training/development, and staffing of warehouse staff

  • Manage sound safety and risk policies and procedures through all areas of operation

  • Drive Operational Excellence through careful oversight and reporting of KPIs, regular quality audits and other measures

  • Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning

  • Drive teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations

  • Assists other department heads as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 25%
