Duties Responsibilities: Superviseand coordinateall clinical activities to ensure efficient daily operations of the clinical area in the physician practice. Ensurepatient and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and office procedures. Assistphysicians with all aspects of direct patient care, performs procedures and other tasks involved in patient care, triage patient calls that come in to the office. Qualifications: Current CMA, LPN licensed by South Carolina, equivalent degree or at least 10 years of clinical supervisor experience required. Appropriate certification/licensure associated with the degree required. Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT is required. CMAmust be a graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association, or its successor; by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or its successor; by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or its successor; or by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. The accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program must include courses in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, medical laboratory techniques, and clinical experience. Good interpersonal, administrative, organizational, professional and computer skills are required. Must interact well with staff, patients and the public. Preferred Qualifications: Tenyears of clinical experience preferred. Associates degree in business or related field preferred. Physician practice experience preferred.
