Job Description
Supervises grounds maintenance throughout stadium facilities. Monitors pending work orders, trains and oversees grounds staff, and performs general maintenance and repairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff. Supervisory functions include: makes hiring and termination decisions; prioritizes assignments and directs work; develops and oversees employee work schedules and approves time away from work; provides and/or facilitates employee training and development; approves/processes employee concerns and problems and counsels or disciplines as appropriate; completes employee performance appraisals; determines or makes recommendations regarding new hire salaries and salary changes; and acts as liaison between employees and management.
- Receives, prepares, organizes, and prioritizes pending work orders; obtains quotes from vendors.
- Oversees daily operations of building and ground activities.
- Coordinates and monitors all work performed by outside contractors; reviews and inspects work in process and upon completion for compliance with standards.
- Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures; initiates appropriate corrective action to resolve operational problems.
- Attends staff and special project meetings as required.
- Will be required to drive City vehicle for City business use
- Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- At least three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance or related experience.

- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
