The Nevada Department of Transportation is hiring for a Supervisor 1, Associate Engineer located within District II in Sparks, NV. Incumbent serves as the Survey Crew Chief and is responsible for assisting the Resident Engineer with administering construction contracts; supervising engineering technicians and/or engineering students; directing activities of assigned staff, organizing personnel, equipment and materials, and delegating assignments; evaluating the performance of employees according to established policies and work performance standards; ensuring accurate and timely completion of work assignments; performing construction survey; and providing guidance and training to Engineering Technicians.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
