    Description

    • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing or an approved

    foreign credential evaluation PLUS three (3) years of professional nursing experience, of which

    one (1) year is in a supervisory/team lead role related to the responsibilities of the position

    OR

    • A Master's degree or higher in Nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing or an approved foreign credential evaluation PLUS two (2) years of professional nursing experience,

    of which one (1) year is in a supervisory/team lead role related to the responsibilities of the

    position

    Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications:

    • Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse. Applicants must possess a valid State of Illinois Registered Nurse license at the time of employment

    SELECTION REQUIREMENTS

    This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral part of the interview will be selected.

    Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:

    • Previous work experience at a local health department
    • Multilingual
