Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent with a strong background in millwork in the commercial construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of millwork projects, from design to implementation, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of millwork projects, from initial design to final implementation, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all millwork staff and subcontractors, including carpenters, joiners, and other skilled tradespeople.
3. Review and approve all millwork designs and plans, ensuring that they meet all relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
4. Monitor the progress of all millwork projects, making adjustments as necessary to keep them on track and within budget.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
6. Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
7. Identify and resolve any problems or obstacles that may arise during the course of a project, using your expert knowledge of millwork and construction to find effective solutions.
8. Ensure that all millwork materials and equipment are used safely and effectively, and that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
1. Experience in a supervisory role within the millwork or construction industry, with a focus on high-end, custom, architectural millwork, casework, or woodwork.
2. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of millwork, including design, fabrication, installation, and finishing.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople.
4. Must be able to travel to Los Angeles CA every 2 weeks for the first 6 months.
5. Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
6. A thorough understanding of all relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
7. A commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all are completed on time and within budget.
9. Must be good with non-union company.
