Job Details
You will serve as the lead Superintendent on commercial projects averaging $8 to $10 million in the Asheville, North Carolina area. Project types include healthcare, higher education, and K-12 — both new construction and renovations. Experience in heavy mechanical work is a plus but not required.
Seven or more years of experience truly running work as the lead Superintendent is required. This is not a second-chair role. You are the person in charge of the field.
Your responsibilities: driving the project schedule and holding subcontractors accountable to it. Managing all daily site operations and coordinating trades. Maintaining a safe, OSHA-compliant jobsite. Handling field documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports. Partnering with the PM on cost and schedule performance. Building strong relationships with owners, architects, and inspectors.
