We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare Construction with a focus on OSHPD/HCAi. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the construction industry, working on a variety of healthcare construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospital construction, including remodels, renovations, tenant improvements (TI), and ground-up projects. The role requires a deep understanding of OSHPD compliance and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare Construction, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of the project.
2. Ensuring compliance with OSHPD regulations and guidelines at all stages of construction.
3. Supervising the construction process to ensure the project is completed to a high standard of quality, on time, and within budget.
4. Coordinating and managing all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, material and equipment management, and compliance with building safety codes.
5. Managing remodels, renovations, tenant improvements (TI), and ground-up projects in a healthcare setting.
6. Liaising with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure the project is running smoothly and any issues are resolved promptly.
7. Preparing and submitting progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting any potential delays or problems and providing solutions.
8. Ensuring HCAI (Healthcare Associated Infections) prevention measures are implemented and adhered to during construction.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of construction management experience, specifically in healthcare construction.
2. Proven experience in managing hospital remodels, renovations, TI, and ground-up projects.
3. Strong knowledge of OSHPD compliance and the ability to ensure all projects adhere to these guidelines.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of construction professionals.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate.
7. A strong understanding of HCAI prevention measures in a construction setting.
8. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals.
9. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
