Description

  • Lead and enforce jobsite safety programmes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety orientations for subcontractors, vendors, and site visitors.
  • Manage daily field operations, monitor project progress, and identify solutions to construction challenges.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Maintain project schedules in partnership with the Project Manager and proactively address schedule impacts.
  • Track material deliveries, inventory, and procurement needs to support uninterrupted workflow.
  • Prepare daily reports, participate in project meetings, and facilitate weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.

Profile

For the Superintendent, we are seeking:

  • Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or comparable field leadership role.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, institutional, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, jobsite safety, quality control, and project scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and maintaining productive jobsite relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction management technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as needed.

Requirements 5+ years of Superintendent, MEP Superintendent, or MEP field leadership experience within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale construction. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems coordination. Experience managing MEP subcontractors, commissioning activities, and quality-control processes. Knowledge of construction safety requirements and industry best practices. Ability to review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and construction schedules. Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel and work from project sites as required.
