As a mid-sized company, they are known for their expertise in construction management and their dedication to delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.DescriptionThe Data Center Superintendent will be responsible for:Supervise all aspects of data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, and client expectationsLead coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelinesDevelop and manage detailed project schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to avoid delaysOversee budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting to ensure projects remain within scope and profitability targetsMonitor daily on-site activities, providing direction to field teams and resolving issues in real time to maintain progressEnsure all construction activities meet strict quality standards, contract documents, and regulatory requirementsManage change orders, RFIs, and submittals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolutionPrepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, financials, and risk assessments to stakeholdersFoster strong communication across all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal leadershipLead project meetings (OAC, subcontractor, safety) to drive accountability and alignment across teamsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall project deliveryEnforce safety protocols and company policies, conducting regular site walks and audits to maintain a safe work environmentSupport commissioning and turnover processes, ensuring successful project closeout and client satisfactionBuild and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to repeat business and long-term partnershipProfileA successful Data Center - Superintendent should have:Demonstrated ability to oversee all phases of construction, from pre‑construction planning through commissioning.Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.Experience coordinating with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain alignment on project goals.Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and data center operational requirements.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.Skilled in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and conflict resolution.Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.Adept at monitoring project performance using KPIs and generating clear, actionable reports.Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and enforcing compliance on job sites.Experience conducting site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.Ability to adapt quickly to changing project conditions and make informed decisions under pressure.Strong leadership skills to guide teams, foster collaboration, and maintain a positive work environment.Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy‑efficient construction methods.Proficiency in budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial oversight of construction activities.Experience working with local permitting processes, inspections, and regulatory agencies.
