Job Summary

Asa Carlton, Inc., a commercial construction company headquartered in Braselton, GA, currently has an opening for a commercial Construction Superintendent. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in ground-up Fuel Station/Convenience Store, Quick service oil change & Automotive repair projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing projects nationwide across the entire US.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for on-site management of ground-up Fuel Station/Convenience Store, quick service oil change & automotive repair facilities construction projects.

Supervising, managing, and working with teams traveling to locations throughout the US.

Responsible for coordinating and completing specific projects on time, within budget with a keen eye for quality, safety, and production.

Prepare daily field reports, progress reports, production reports, time sheets, expense reports, etc. and provide timely progress updates to the Asa Carlton Project team.

Responsible for scheduling and ensuring the appropriate staffing of daily construction activities with subcontractors and vendors.

Maintain all construction scheduling to ensure deadlines and project deliverables are met. Provide weekly lookahead schedules to the Project team.

Responsible for onsite inventory management of all material and equipment. Performs audits as needed and tracks and receives material deliveries.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and key team members to ensure that project specifications are met.

Assists the Project Team to obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.

Comply with building codes as well as legal requirements of authorities having jurisdiction.

Ensures all work is performed safely in compliance with all safety policies and procedures and OSHA requirements.

Conduct and document weekly Jobsite Safety Analysis (JSA), and toolbox safety meetings.

Enforce project quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

Coordinate, conduct, and document QA/QC meetings and inspections at the jobsite.

Maintains and organizes a clean job site.

Perform other duties as assigned.
