Normal Parks & Rec is looking for a youth Track and Cross Country coach.
The program runs Mondays and Wednesdays in the evening (6-7pm) from July 7 - August 6. Each week the program will focus on building stamina and developing proper running technique for youth athletes both on the track and in the grass for a cross country training. This five-week program works with young athletes ages 7-13 as they prepare themselves and dive into the world of running. The end of season goal will be to "compete" in a 2k with all group participants.
Preferred age is 19 years and older. Exceptions can be made for applicants with prior coaching experience.
