AlphaBEST Summer Camp Counselor/Director - Summer is where adventure begins!

Location: FT Collins, Colorado
Schedule: No Weekends! Monday-Friday. Camp hours are 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. Flexible scheduling available.
Here's what you'll need to lead our team as a Summer Camp Site Director:
- Must meet one of the following qualifications per CO licensing regulations:
- completed a bachelor's degree (in a related field, such as recreation, outdoor education, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field)
- 2 years of college education and 6 months (910 hours) of *satisfactory and verifiable experience
- 3 years of satisfactory and verifiable experience, along with 6+ semester hours or college education, OR 40 clock hours of training in coursework applicable to school-age children. Satisfactory and verifiable experience must have occurred after you were 18 years or older and must be for the care/supervision of children 4 years or older.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
- Experience working with teenagers in a group setting.
Here's what you'll need to join our team as a Summer Camp Group Leader:
- Preferred to have a minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+) and be 18+ years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
- Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours)
- Experience working with teenagers in a group setting.
Pay & Benefits:
- $16.25-$21.75 per hour (depending on education)

As an AlphaBEST team member, you'll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides/campers and deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
- Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.(Site Director)
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school are fostered at your program site.
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
