The Summer Research Support Intern will collaborate with the technical team to support functionalized materials and performance coatings projects.
Responsibilities include analyzing customer samples, assisting with laboratory maintenance, conducting analytical testing using instruments like SEM-EDX, FTIR, DSC, and optical microscopy, and entering data into lab management systems.
Applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Material, Chemical, or Chemical Engineering (junior or senior preferred), with a basic understanding of chemistry and lab equipment.
They must communicate effectively, work independently, and demonstrate initiative.
Physical requirements include precise hand movements, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and good vision and hearing.
