The site supervisor, under the direction of the Program Director, leads staff and children in a before and after school setting, focusing on character development, Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
Essential duties include coordinating program activities, building relationships with staff, students, and parents, maintaining records, ensuring safety and organization, and participating in aquatics activities. They collaborate with school personnel and YMCA staff, provide excellent customer service, and assist with administrative tasks and planning.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-4 years supervisory experience preferred, and experience working with children and diverse communities. Candidates should be flexible, organized, communicative, and able to work physically in various environments, including outdoors and pools. Certifications in CPR and First Aid are preferred. The position involves working extended hours, with a focus on leadership, safety, and team management.
