The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity, is seeking a highly motivated individual who is excited to work with youth to join our Workforce Development team as a Summer Job Coach.
The Summer Job Coach will provide supervision, direction, and support to STL Youth Jobs Participants. The Job Coach will implement strategies to achieve contractual goals and coordination/monitoring of in-person service delivery. This is a temporary, part-time position (up to 30 hrs/wk).
The Job Coach will conduct in-person program enrollments, job readiness activities, and worksite monitoring with an assigned caseload of participants ages 16 to 24. Monitor in-person job readiness, financial literacy, and professional development training activities in assigned caseload. In addition to the above responsibilities, the job coach will:
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human service field, work experience/coursework in public administration and three years of experience working with clients and the general community are desirable. Must have advanced knowledge of computer and internet-based applications. Current/past educators with strong computer skills are encouraged to apply.
