It is the goal of every position to provide services which will ensure the successful and efficient operations of the FCSD.Qualifications:High School diplomaExperience or equivalent training in food services preferredAbility to positively interact with children, support staff/district employees and community membersProvide documentation of acceptable health via an initial employment physical with capabilities to fulfill the duties of this positionMaintain good personal hygieneAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to lift 50 lbs.Responsibilities:Adhere to applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, safety standards, board policies and administrative rules.Assist the kitchen manager with food preparation as assigned.Assist in utensil/pan/sheet pan washing or operating dish washing machine.Prepare food items as directed.Contribute to the cleanliness, efficiency and successful operation of the food preparation/serving facility, mobile summer food sites.Assist in the preparation menu items.Utilize the HACCP principles in assuring the safety of food preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures as applied to the food service area.Dress appropriately for the position and work required.Complete all general duties and tasks associated with this assigned position in a timely and efficient manner.The listed responsibilities would be typical.
