Make a Difference by the Water This Summer

Do you love working outdoors, staying active, and helping children build confidence in the water? Join the team at Camp Addisone Boyce as an Lifeguard and spend your summer creating safe, memorable aquatic experiences for campers.

In this role, you’ll support the Aquatics Director in leading daily waterfront and pool operations while ensuring the highest standards of camper safety, engagement, and fun.

What You’ll Do

 Support Daily Aquatics Operations

• Assist with swim lessons, recreational swim periods, and aquatic programming
• Supervise campers at the pool and maintain a safe, positive environment
• Enforce all waterfront and pool safety procedures

 Help Create Memorable Camp Experiences

• Participate in special aquatic events and overnight swim activities
• Engage with campers during general camp activities
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and water safety skills

 Maintain Safety & Facility Standards

• Conduct water testing and assist with maintaining pool cleanliness
• Monitor pool equipment and report repair or maintenance needs
• Complete required records and incident documentation

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification
Successful completion of background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Comfortable navigating uneven or outdoor terrain
• Ability to lift and carry items over 15 lbs.
