JOB DESCRIPTION: The substitute school nurse is responsible for implementing the school health program in the absence of the permanent school nurse and/or will be responsible for providing health services to students who are participating in school sponsored field trips. The substitute nurse will provide first aid to student's Pre-K through grade 12 and staff, including administering medications, performing ordered treatments, caring for illness and documentation in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts laws and the policies and procedures of the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District.
