DESCRIPTION:

Campus Security Safety Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Campus Security Safety Officer shall monitor all persons entering and leaving school property, maintain control and provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff and all district constituencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• Be a licensed driver and/or have transportation to and from the work site.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of their positions at 100% capacity, without any permanent physical limitations that would limit his/her ability.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT & COMPENSATION

Part-Time Substitute position. Hourly rate and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.

Safety officers can work up to 29 hours per week, compensated at $16.00/hour

COMPENSATION

In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 School Year is Step 1 BA/BS + 45/ MA ($70,523) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
