The Substitute Paraprofessional/Classroom Aide position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving a diverse student body across 17 buildings.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and can obtain an Educational Aide Permit if hired.
The role involves helping maintain a positive learning environment by supporting students with academic and physical needs, assisting with classroom materials and assistive technology, and engaging positively with students.
Responsibilities include supporting students during transitions, lifting or assisting with weights up to 300 lbs, and running after or catching students as needed.
Training is provided at no cost, with a wage of $16.00/hour. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis as temporary employees.
