We are currently looking for a Substation Physical Engineer with 5 + years experience. The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Job Duties:
• Design the following portions of substations: • Control building (relay panels, facilities, cable raceways, trays, etc.) • Busbar and strain bus • Equipment & support structures • Assembly drawings • Cables and connectors • Lightning protection and lighting • Grounding grid • Conduit and trenches
• Perform calculations such as: • Grounding • Lighting and lightning • Cable ampacity
• Assist project manager to develop scope of work and conceptual design for the projects; • Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, client, and others as needed;
