Full-time Substation Designer (CAD Technician) role focused on high voltage utility substations and renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities include computer-aided design of electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, single-line, three-line, protection, control, communication, and alarm schematics, as well as wiring diagrams.
Collaborate with engineers, correct discrepancies, import tables, create notes, and ensure accuracy and quality.
Manage multiple projects, meet schedules, and support project delivery through communication and documentation.
Requirements include an associate degree in Design & Drafting Technology or related field, at least 3 years of CAD experience (preferably AutoCAD), and prior experience drafting high voltage substation schematics.
