We are seeking an experienced Substation EPC Design Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering across our high-voltage substation projects (69–500 kV).
- Own the engineering scope from proposal to commissioning, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and constructability.
- Coordinate design elements like layout, grounding, protection, and control systems, and review drawings and calculations.
- Lead risk mitigation, value engineering, and interface with utilities and field teams.
- Mentor and manage engineering teams and external partners, standardize practices, and promote safety and quality.
- Collaborate on project bids, develop strategies, and build client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and maintain documentation controls.
Qualifications include: a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 6-10+ years of high-voltage substation experience, leadership skills, proficiency with engineering tools, and excellent communication. Preferred qualifications include a PE license, utility standards familiarity, and renewable energy interconnection experience. The role offers a salary range of $160,000 - $210,000, with in-office or hybrid work options.
