Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional automotive customer service
• Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately
• Recommend automotive maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
• Create and manage repair orders efficiently
• Coordinate with automotive technicians regarding diagnostics and repairs
• Communicate repair recommendations, pricing, and timelines clearly
• Schedule service appointments and maintain customer follow-up
• Ensure a positive customer experience and maintain high CSI scores
• Help drive service sales and department productivity

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Automotive Service Writer experience preferred
• Dealership experience preferred
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, and service operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Computer proficiency and experience with dealership software is a plus
• Valid California driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
