About the Role

Jerry Seiner Valencia Subaru is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Internet Sales Manager / Digital Sales Manager to lead our dealership's digital sales and customer engagement operations.

This position is ideal for a proven automotive professional with hands-on experience selling vehicles, working within a dealership internet department, and successfully managing internet or BDC operations. We are looking for a leader who understands dealership processes, knows how to drive appointments and conversions, and can build a high-performing team culture.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong job tenure and career stability, reflecting consistency, leadership, and long-term performance in prior automotive roles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Internet Sales / BDC team
  • Manage inbound internet, phone, and digital sales leads
  • Train team members on phone skills, objection handling, and appointment-setting best practices
  • Monitor and improve response times, contact rates, appointment show rates, and sales conversions
  • Ensure accurate CRM usage, documentation, and follow-up processes
  • Partner with dealership sales leadership to structure and support internet deals
  • Maintain compliant, customer-focused, and profitable sales processes
  • Analyze sales metrics and implement strategies to improve department performance
  • Deliver an exceptional online-to-showroom customer experience

Qualifications

  • Automotive sales experience required
  • Previous dealership internet department experience required
  • Prior experience managing an automotive Internet Sales or BDC department required
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable to performance metrics
  • Strong knowledge of dealership CRM systems and lead management processes
  • Demonstrated history of strong job tenure and career stability preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Results-driven mindset with strong attention to customer satisfaction and conversion performance
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required
