We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and client-focused Hair Stylist Assistant to join our salon team in Hollywood, CA. What You’ll Do

• Prepare clients for services including shampooing, conditioning, and combing
• Assist stylists with coloring, treatments, and basic hair services
• Apply temporary color and remove product buildup as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
• Sanitize tools, restock supplies, and keep stations client-ready
• Greet clients warmly and help ensure a high-end salon experience
• Support front desk operations (phones, scheduling, payments) when needed
• Assist with refreshments, retail displays, and inventory
• Collaborate with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Active Cosmetology License (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced salon environment
• High attention to detail and organization
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Willingness to travel occasionally (including East Coast travel required)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous salon or customer service experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs as needed
