We are looking for a responsible and patient Study Hall Instructor to support students during supervised study sessions. This role focuses on answering questions, guiding homework, and helping students build effective study habits.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with students and want a flexible, low-pressure teaching environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during study hall sessions
- Provide academic support and answer student questions (Math preferred)
- Assist with homework completion and concept clarification
- Encourage focus, productivity, and good study habits
- Maintain a quiet and positive learning environment
- Communicate with staff if any academic concerns arise
Qualifications
- Strong academic background (especially in Math; Science is a plus)
- Patient, responsible, and good with students
- Able to explain concepts clearly
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (not required)
- College students or graduates welcome
Preferred
- Familiar with middle school / high school curriculum
- Experience with AP courses (a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus
