  • This role will recruit participants and from a pool of past participants, screen for eligibility, schedule the study visit.

  • They will conduct the study visit, administer questionnaires, support documentation, and data entry tasks.

  • Will process human blood samples, centrifuge, and ship to the biobank.

  • Oversees and coordinates research for the studys various activities. Reviews tasks lists; ensures timely completion of project task.

  • Plans, conducts, controls, and communicates investigations under supervision of principal investigator.

  • Communicates regularly with principal investigator, and project administrator(s) in order to facilitate the research progress in executing program goals/task.

  • Contributes to the writing and editing of project materials such as newsletter, website and other lay publications. Works closely with Communications and Graphics Departments to ensure publications are completed.

  • Facilitates communication with IRB Office to ensure that protocols are submitted in the correct manner.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

HJF is seeking a Study Coordinator I to oversee research activities in collaboration with other scientific and technical staff. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the study coordinator oversees the day-to-day tasks of the research in the execution of the study plan.

This position will be in support of the Center for Advanced Research for Military Optimization, Readiness, and Rehabilitation (ARMORR). The Study Coordinator will be hired to support the NCAA/DoD Concussion Assessment Research and Education [CARE] Consortium project located at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg, NC.

This study is a longitudinal follow-up on previously-assessed military service academy cadets/midshipmen to address critical questions about potential long-term effects of concussion/mTBI and head impact exposure on warfighter brain health.
