Work Schedule: Short assignments to cover competitions that will have various start times dependent on schedule of events. Students will be given assignments prior to work day.
Desired Length of Employment: This is a one-time weekend event; work will be performed on Friday afternoon, April 24, 2026 and Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Pay Rate: $10
Job Description: Students will be assisting contest directors to prepare, facilitate and finalize UIL event from start to finish. Duties include:
• Monitoring contest room for entry of contestants • Assisting director with distribution of contest materials • Picking up contest materials after the event • Assist in planning, coordinating and helping with events as needed • Deliver excellent customer services to clients and visitors • Provide information and answer inquiries as needed • Assist with various activities and tasks related to events and hospitality services
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
