Compensation:
CWA - P18 - Steps 1-3
$56,253.35-$61,382.05
(effective July 12, 2026 the above range will be increased due to a cost-of-living adjustment)
Internal Applicants salary will be based on Union Negotiated calculations
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, CWA position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Note: Those non-faculty employees in the NE category of employment may have irregular or variable work hours. The compensatory time policy for NL employees below applies to NE employees up to 40 hours per week. Beyond 40 hours, the overtime policy for fixed workweek employees applies (i.e., rate of time and one-half in payment or compensatory time).
JOB SUMMARY
Under the coordination of the Assistant Director, the position provides the highest quality of customer service to students, parents, and all other members of the College Community while performing basic professional functions using established policies, procedures, precedents, and guidelines. Must be able to communicate financial information in a professional and courteous manner, and to help students and parents to understand their financial responsibility to the College.

EDUCATION
Graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelors degree. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute experience on a year-for-year basis (30 credit hours is considered one year of college).
EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in customer service is required. Three years of experience is preferred.
Professional experience in education, higher education, or other field related to the functions of the position is preferred.
Experience working with Ellucian Banner Student Accounts Receivable software is a plus.
Experience working with TouchNet U Commerce is a plus.
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to handle, process, and reconcile cash transactions accurately.
Ability to communicate decisively and confidently on the telephone and in-person with customers.
Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and/or in person; perception to identify and escalate priority issues to the manager; follow up on customer calls where necessary.
Ability to prepare clear, technically sound, accurate, and informative reports containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, interpret, and apply established law, regulations, policies, procedures, precedents, and guidelines.
Ability to organize assigned work, analyze problems, and develop appropriate work methods.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with other staff or organizations.
Ability to prepare clear and concise correspondence and maintain essential records and files.
Work overtime as required during peak periods.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Docs.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
