May require occasional evenings and weekends.Job SummaryIn a learning college environment, this role provides comprehensive enrollment services to new and returning students. The position collaborates closely with the Contact Center, Welcome Desk, and Admissions, Records & Registration teams, while supporting related areas such as testing, advising, financial aid, veterans' services, and international student services. Support is delivered through multiple channels, including in‑person, phone, chat, and text, using a variety of technology systems to guide students through the enrollment process.Essential FunctionsStudent Support (55%) : Provides comprehensive assistance to prospective and current students across key enrollment areas, including admissions, placement testing, registration, financial aid, veterans' services, international programs, career services, and transfer requirements. Primary support is delivered via phone, with additional service provided in person at the Welcome Desk and through email, chat, and text.Data Management (20%) : Collects, enters, updates, and verifies student information in systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Student Information System (SIS), and Amazon Connect. Reviews and processes student applications for accuracy, requests additional documentation as needed, and ensures student records are maintained in compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.Team Collaboration & Training (15%) : Supports team operations by training staff, directing temporary workers, and providing evening coverage as needed. Actively participates in cross‑functional committees to advance institutional goals and provides backup support to the One Stop support staff.Special Projects (10%) : Assists with enrollment‑related initiatives, processes documents, and delivers presentations to groups as required. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsAssociate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one (1) year full‑time of student services or college teaching experience, or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, customer service, or related student development programs.OR an equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full‑time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.Desired QualificationsAt least one (1) year of experience in a customer service role with significant public interaction.At least one (1) year of experience, preferably in a high‑volume call center environment.Experience in admissions, records, registration, advisement, or financial aid‑related roles.Experience using student services systems such as a Student Information System (e.g., PeopleSoft), a Customer Relationship Management system (e.g., Salesforce, ASSIST), or student services management tools (e.g., Cranium Café).Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office applications.One (1) year of full‑time, relevant MCCCD experience within the previous two (2) years.Licenses, Registrations, or CertificationsPossession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License, and/or First Aid certification may be required for some assignments.Special Working ConditionsMCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visa.
