Job Summary Helping photography students with a variety of lab work. This will include working with computers, photo-editing software, ink jet printers and paper, studio photography, darkroom, and photographic equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Self-motivated to help students and instructors in the photography lab and studio. Daily maintenance of the facilities and equipment (duties will include cleaning, mixing chemicals, checking out equipment, and inventory). Opening and closing the facility.

Good interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills and knowledge in Lightroom Classic, Capture One Pro, and Photoshop. Proficiency with digital workflow, analog workflow, all formats of cameras, studio lighting, and equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.

Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Some experience or education in photography

Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of photography experience or education
