Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position

Responsible for assisting with creative design projects, digital content creation, print production preparation, and event operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates on creative projects by designing materials such as flyers, banners, backdrops, signage, and other promotional materials.
  • Helps design university-branded marketing materials for events, programs, and initiatives in a timely manner.
  • Assists with preparing files for print production, including proofreading layouts, packaging files, exporting press-ready PDFs, and ensuring materials meet printing specifications.
  • Supports the creation, scheduling, and management of content for the college's digital signage network.
  • Assists with maintaining organized design files, templates, and creative assets.
  • Assists with event set-up, tear-down, and overall event operations.
  • Helps maintain visual consistency across materials in accordance with university branding standards.

Essential Skills

This role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. Familiarity with print production and prepress workflows is preferred. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment while taking initiative on assigned projects. The ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work within established university brand guidelines is essential.
