Overview:

Student Affairs at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a Student Desk Assistant! The student desk assistant supports the Student Center Reservations department with a variety of administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors to our suite in a cheerful and welcoming manner
  • Assist visitors with questions or directions as needed
  • Answer the desk phone in a cheerful and welcoming manner
  • Assist callers with inquiries and direct them to the correct resources as needed
  • Deliver deposits to Student Financial Services
  • Deliver items to other offices on campus
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings
  • Arrive promptly for shifts, dressed appropriately, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic team attitude.
Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work the summer semester
  • Current enrolled student at Auburn University
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
 
Expectations:
  • An outgoing person willing to engage with a diverse customer population
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Work an average of 10 hours per week
