Overview:
Student Affairs is excited to begin the search for a Student Desk Assistant to service the James E. Foy Information Desk! The student desk assistant supports daily front-desk operations by providing friendly customer service, offering guidance to visitors, and managing basic administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet building visitors in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Assist them with questions or directions as needed
- Provide access to meeting rooms to customers who have reservations. Help them connect with Event Operations Team if Audio-Visual assistance is needed
- Receive and document lost and found items
- Answer the desk phone in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Assist callers with inquiries and direct them to the correct resources as needed
- Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings
- Arrive promptly for shifts, dressed in provided uniforms, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic team attitude

Enrolled student at Auburn University
Expectations:
- Applicants must be able to work the summer semester
- Applicants must be eligible to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including early mornings and home football games during the fall semester
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Possess some customer service experience
- An outgoing person willing to engage with a diverse visitor and caller population
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Ability to work in a team environment
Pay Range:
USD $8.00 - USD $10.00 /Hr.
