TITLE: Student Council Adviser
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the Student Council Adviser acts as a liaison between the student body and the administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insure that Student Council members provide service to the school community, such as helping during Spirit Week or other school sponsored activities.
Insure that Student Council members provide service to the local community, such as running a Food Drive or other activities.
Attend all Student Council meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
