Position Introduction:
The Office of Student Life is part of the Division of Student Affairs and is the student engagement and involvement experience at the University of Oklahoma. The Office of Student Life consists of Community Engagement, Fraternity and Sorority Programs and Services, and Campus Programs. This position will provide general clerical and administrative support to the Student Life office. Student employees in this role should have great customer service, be dependable and reliable, professional, and willing to be proactive in advancing the mission of Student Life.
Job Duties:
- Assist with connecting guests to resources and services offered by the Office of Student
Life
- Serve as front-line staff for guests visiting the Office of Student Life
- Answer phone calls
- Assist with administrative tasks such as making copies, filing and scanning documents,
running errands, restocking office supplies, organizing work areas and storage spaces,
and distributing mail
- Responsible for collecting funds to be deposited to Student Life, tracking funds, and
issuing receipts based on University of Oklahoma policy
- Manage multiple projects per shift
- Assist with programming in Student Life
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall term as a student at the University of Oklahoma
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status
- Must attach Fall class schedule

- Basic computer skills
- Basic accounting/math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
