The Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Center, part of the University of Florida Transportation Institute (UFTI) within the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure and Environment (ESSIE), is seeking a student assistant to support outreach and marketing activities. The T2 Center also houses the Florida Traffic Safety Resource Center (FTSRC), which supports the Florida Department of Transportation’s roadway safety mission through education and community engagement. The office is located on UF’s East Campus at 2100 NE Waldo Road.

Classification Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma and prior experience with graphic design.

Job Description:

This position focuses on creating visual materials to support safety programs and outreach efforts. The student assistant will design graphics, flyers, and infographics for digital and print use. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in graphic design and can effectively communicate information through visual formats while collaborating with staff on outreach projects.

Expected Salary:

$17-$19 per hour

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience with graphic design.

Preferred:
  1. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  2. Familiar with WordPress and an understanding of website accessibility principles.
  3. Familiar with Canva and Constant Contact.
