    Job Summary

    The Student Health and Well-Being (SHAW) Student Assistant supports marketing, outreach, and

    operational efforts that promote student wellness. This position is ideal for a proactive and creative

    student who is passionate about health promotion, communication, and campus engagement

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support SHAW's marketing and promotional efforts through

    Canvas platform to create posters by ensuring quality and inclusivity in designing

    Content creation for SHAW Instagram on a daily basis or upon request

    • Assist with the pick-up and distribute marketing materials across campus, including residence halls.
    • Design and maintain bulletin boards with monthly or themed content.
    • Assist with planning and execution SHAW events, including setup, on-site support, and breakdown.
    • Restock vending machines and dispensers weekly.
    • Maintain accurate inventory tracking spreadsheets for vending machines and dispensers.
    • Notify SHAW Manager when inventory needs replenishing.

    Qualifications

    • Applicants must hold current Oberlin College or Conservatory student status.
    • Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva.
    • Passionate about using social media to engage campus communities, raise awareness, and encourage participation.
    • Able to walk across campus and lift/move light materials.
    • Creativity and enthusiasm for health, well-being, health promotion, and prevention.
    • Ability to work independently with an awareness to know when to seek guidance or assistance.
