Pay Range: Targeted salary $8.00-$9.50 per hour based on experience
Benefits Eligible: No
Work Schedule: Mainly Tuesday/Thursdays. Dependent upon class schedule: 10-20 hours/week

Position Introduction:
Athletics Graphic Design Student Assistant Will:
- Organize and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress
- Formulate design concepts, presentations, sign templates, layouts and other collateral from initial idea to final execution
- Present or pitch ideas, briefs, and concepts to full-time staff
- Prioritize and filter work coming from multiple departments
- Design digital advertisements, print, and promotional materials
- Work with images from various photographers, comping images to use on design layouts
- Meet all deadlines
- Contribute to the invention and implementation of marketing/communications initiatives
Required Education and Experience:
- Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Skills:
- Must know design programs on a Macintosh computer, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign,
- Adobe Acrobat and Font Management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
- Practice a professional attitude when working with outside vendors
- Develop good rapport with other members of the Athletics Department
- Maintain an approachable persona as well as organized and respectful communication with all other departments
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure a cohesive message and look across all design projects and materials
- Able to gain and maintain working knowledge of NCAA, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
