The YMCA of Central Kentucky is seeking energetic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our School Age Child Care team as After School Group Leaders.

• Assist the school age child care site director in the implementation of a culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the children at all times and maintain daily records, adhering to all requirements
• Uphold the association's child protection policies, child abuse and neglect guidelines and proper reporting procedures
• Attend all staff meetings and in-service training as required by the YMCA and the Division of Regulated Child Care (DRCC)
• Prepare daily snack for the children and support and implement healthy eating and physical activity initiatives (HEPA)
• Direct and assist daily cleaning and maintenance of the space and/or facility

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
