Are you someone who thrives on hitting goals, building relationships, and knowing your work made a difference? At Pima Medical Institute, a leading healthcare education institution in Houston, our Admissions Representatives do exactly that - every single day.

We're not just looking for people with admissions experience. If you've built a career around metrics, pipelines, and people - whether in sales, recruiting, financial services, healthcare, or customer success - you already have the foundation to excel here. What matters most is that you're driven, organized, and genuinely care about helping others take the next step in their healthcare careers.

This position is based at our Houston, TX campus. In this role, you'll guide prospective healthcare students from their first inquiry through enrollment, managing your own pipeline and hitting measurable targets in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and maintain proactive contact with prospective students via phone, email, and other communication channels throughout the entire enrollment lifecycle.
  • Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their goals, program fit, and ability to benefit, following established guidelines.
  • Respond to all incoming inquiries, explain academic programs in detail, and answer questions related to applications, enrollment, and courses.
  • Utilize CRM systems and tracking tools to manage applicant pipelines and monitor performance against key metrics.
  • Coordinate and facilitate campus tours, assessment tests, and collaborate with the Financial Aid department to determine student eligibility and start dates.
  • Analyze enrollment statistics and marketing data to inform outreach strategies.
  • Represent PMI at recruitment events including job fairs and high school visits; participate in evening and weekend work rotations as applicable.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all federal and state laws, accreditation requirements, and PMI policies, guaranteeing all communication is accurate and not misleading.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of training, education, or experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in education sales, admissions, or recruitment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Internet research.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Private, proprietary school experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Pay: $31.00 - $38.75 per hour.
  • Health Benefits: Medical (PPO & HDHP), Dental, and Vision coverage; plus FSA, HSA options.
  • Retirement: 401(k) with a 10% Employer Match.
  • Ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - you're not just an employee, you're an owner.
  • Wellness: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Health & Wellness Program.

About the Company

P

Pima Medical Institute

Pima Medical Institute started changing lives in 1972 when Richard Luebke Sr. and his wife, JoAnn, brought to life their dream of providing quality medical career education. They opened the first campus in Tucson, Arizona, preparing students to become nursing assistants. Eventually Richard Luebke Jr. and Mark Luebke took the helm, introducing more programs and opening additional campus locations to meet the country’s growing demand for quality healthcare professionals.

In 2015, Fred Freedman became Pima Medical’s President and Chief Executive Officer after serving the college as Chief Operating Officer. He has been with Pima Medical since June of 2000. He’s leading Pima Medical into the future, with growth, innovation and a keen eye on what healthcare providers need in great employees. We encourage you to become part of the Pima Medical Institute family, where you can help make a difference in the lives of our students today and educate future professionals.

As our community of students continues to grow, so does our community of talented staff. We truly believe that our people are the heart of our organization, and as we grow, we continue to hold ourselves accountable to the values that support those people.
