Requirements
Currently enrolled and taking classes as a Tulane University student
Currently in good standing with the university
Employ strong interpersonal and public relations skills
Have the ability to work independently and with diverse groups of people
Maintain a mature and professional in manner and appearance
Able to lift/move at least 30lbs
Major Responsibilities and/or Deliverables:
Participate in initial training sessions as well as ongoing development and meetings
Plan and facilitate (or co-facilitate) events - including movie nights, trivia, karaoke or craft
nights, or other large scale events - in rotation with other team members. This includes,
o Assisting with setup and/or tear down
o Acting as point of contact with vendors or hosts
o Tracking attendance or participation
Contribute content to social media accounts
Act as an ambassador for the LBC and the various programming initiatives
Assist the Professional Staff with various office tasks, errands, and projects as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
Attend all required trainings for the start of each semester
Attend monthly staff meetings
Participate fully in bi-annual self and supervisor evaluations and evaluation meetings
